Craft Bazaar is Closed.

The adoption craft bazaar is now closed! A HUGE thank you to all that shopped, shared and bought. I won't have final numbers until the end of this week when we do the art drawing, but it looks like we are pretty darn close to $5000--Hallelujah! (I'll post specific numbers as soon as I have them).

I will be sending individual messages to those who bought items to connect you with the artist as needed and arrange delivery/shipping. Donations can be made directly to our matching grant site:

Craft Bazaar Art Drawing

Have you entered the drawing for an original piece of Cady Driver art??  Cady is an internationally renowned artist, illustrator of several children's books and forever momma to a super cool boy from China with an extra chromosome...she is basically me (if, you know, I could draw and illustrate children's books...)

$10/ticket and you can enter as many times as you want!  $100 = ten tickets.  $500 = 50 tickets, etc. If Isaac pulls your name from the hat, you gets to choose from ANY of the stunning pieces below.

Forever Flam-ly (Albanian Intermission Day 52)

I got the call...this girly is coming HOME!! Our (silly) judge (finally) approved the adoption and we can travel to get her in just a few weeks. Thank you to all that have been interceeding for us. She has a "flam-ly" FOREVER and we are coming to get her!!

Fundraising Update.

An update on adoption finances (I so hate this topic):

We left for Albania in May fully funded; we had scraped the absolute bottom of the barrel, but God had provided all that we needed!  When we returned home from Albania unexpectedly in July we brought with us new legal fees and additional future travel estimated at $10,000.  Ugg. There is literally $0 in savings & my employer is being cranky about paying maternity leave. *Sigh* Now what Lord?

But God. 

With some beautiful advocacy from our adoption agency, we received a matching grant from Brittany's Hope: if we raise $5,000, they will match it dollar for dollar to give us...$10,000. We'll be fully funded AGAIN!

As we are hopeful to travel again in October, we have just the month of September to raise the $5,000 so it can be matched and we can go get my girly.  If you would like to be involved there are three ways:

1. Give directly via this link:  https://www.brittanyshope.org/seedling/white/  This is a 100% tax deductible gift and is sent directly to our agency to cover our final expenses...and is matched dollar for dollar!

2. Ask others to give!  There are so many people that just want To Do Something...this is a way they can!  Share via email or social media and ask people to pray about giving to help make #oneless orphan in the world.

3. Participate in our Adoption Craft Bazaar between 9/12-9/26!  Dozens of artists, crafters and creators have joined together to get you ready for the holidays and bring my girl HOME. INCLUDING internationally famed painter & children's book illustrator Cady Driver!  She is offering six pieces of her original art, each available by raffle drawing--tickets are just $10 each!!  THIS. IS. HUGE.     All funds from the bazaar go to our Brittany's Hope matching grant...$1 raised = $2 in our account!  If you are not already following us on Facebook, make sure to join our Adoption Seed: Albania! group page as this will be the most efficient way to participate in the Bazaar (but all items and raffle tickets will be posted here on the blog as well)
