Happy Family Day, Isaac!!!
We've been a family for ELEVEN MONTHS!
That's right...I like to boo-geeeee! I'm really good at clapping and pointing my fingers to the music. And I can get my feet going REALLY fast if I don't have my arms going at the same time. But, I just learned the Chicken Dance at Kollege so that is my FAVORITE right now. You gotta put your fingers in your armpits then you flap your elbows super quick while you spin around in a circle. It's A LOT of fun. Sometimes, I like to practice while I'm walking down the hallway. Momma says, that's good 'cuz you've always have to be prepared...to do the Chicken Dance.
What do you think of all that sun & heat Seattle has been getting?
Momma says to pay close attention to that round yellow ball in the sky because I may not see it again for a while, but I am LOVING being able to play outside after dinner. I get to play in my dragon swimming pool and with my sand table. And I don't have to wear a coat or pants, just shorts so I can see my knees! My legs & arms are starting to turn a darker color and Momma says that is SO not fair because she wants her skin to do that. Um...sorry??
Any new foods that you've learned to like?
Watermelon! Momma cuts it up in little squares and I eat it and eat it and eat it. Yummmmmm. Miss Michelle, my speech therapist, says it doesn't make any sense that I like watermelon, because kids who have HYPO-TOE-NEE-AH usually have a hard time with foods that are solid AND liquid. I say, whatever hypo-toe-nee-ah. Pass the watermelon; I'm my own man!
How's the biting situation? Do you want to talk about it?
*Sigh* I guess. I try REALLY hard not to bite, but I've gotten fourteen new teeth in eleven months and sometimes it just feels SO good to gnaw on something...human. Momma says if I start adding ketchup she is obligated to contact the authorities, whatever that means. Sometimes I bite because someone is in my space and they won't move. And other times it's just because I can. That's when Momma says, "Isaac NO! No biting. We give kisses with our mouth." then she gives me a big wet kiss. *hehe* I like that part!
You went on another plane trip. That eight plane rides since you've been home!
Yup. I'm a GOOD flyer! Even all the people on the plane say so. AND, I have my own frequent flyer card so I can earn a special trip to see Auntie Ange or Mickey Mouse. Momma says on the airplane I can watch as much Elmo and eat as much Pirates Booty as I want, "because on a plane two year olds always win." I hope she thinks the same thing when I'm three!
Did you have a good time on your trip to Wisconsin?
I sure did. I got to meet a lot of special people for the first time. They all love me very much and Momma wanted to take pictures of me with them. I also got to play with my cousins Jaelyn & Xander. Me & Xander are the same size and we like to do the same things, sometimes at the same time and then we don't share very well. That's when Momma or Auntie Ange says "listen, you two!"...then we get separated. Oops. Everyday we did somethings special, but Momma is telling me right now not to say too much because she still has to sort through the pictures and put it on the blog. Stayed tuned.
Next month is kind of a big deal...your First Annual Family Day. What are you going to do?
Momma says being a family for an entire year is something to celebrate! I'm not sure what she is going to have us do, but I think it involves special Chinese food and a field trip to somewhere I've never been. I like being in my family so I know I'll have a good time.
