Fall Fun-ness 2015

October got away from me a bit, but for all the right reasons. We've been having fun visiting the pumpkin patch (twice!) and road-tripping to see Frozen On Ice among other things. We are enjoying the cozy dark in the morning that lets us sleep in and yummy soups in the crock pot. We are loving us some fall.

Pun'kin Patch Part 1 (School Field Trip)
It was a treat to help chaperon the preschool class to the pumpkin patch for the second year in a row. I love that the biggest highlight of the morning for the kids was the bus ride and not necessarily the pumpkins. :)  Crazy kids!

Pun'kin Patch Part 2
We snuck back to the patch to explore and pick up some extra pun'kins.
Checking out the baby chickens

Being a bunny
(This is a new thing, imitating animals...super cute!)

Try explaining this process to a lactose intolerant preschooler...

He gave his best effort trying to bring this pumpkin home.

Our first try at the corn maze.
Isaac was in charge of the map...

...the corn maze police had to guide us to an emergency corn maze exit an hour later.
Better luck next year.

FROZEN on ICE
Nine months ago some friends in central Oregon suggested meeting up in Portland for the day. Lucky for us all our boys LOVE the movie Frozen and Frozen on Ice was going to be at a midpoint between us both. To Portland we went. It took Isaac about 10 min to figure out what he was watching...he turned to me and signed "frozen??". When I confirmed, his face nearly melted...heaven indeed for my little boy. And a great time with our friends (with whom we forgot to get a photo).

Could this little boy of mine get any cuter?
