Last year we stumbled upon the CAST for Kids Fishing event and HAD A BLAST. The kids LOVED the whole experience and I was not sad about a 4 hour boat trip around Lake Washington! We signed up the instant this year's date was posted and again had a wonderful day...Isaac even consented to touching his catch!
Meeting our team, Cap'n John & Ms Ana. This was their four year helping kids learn how to fish.
Here we go!
Isaac got to pick the lure. And Mila learned that many fish like cheese & meat...but she wasn't willing to put a piece of pizza on the hook.
Guess who has a passion for speed boats?!
He felt a tug! Getting ready to reel something in!
Last year he wanted nothing to do with touching a fish--this year he ran right to it!
Mila was ready with garlic corn on her hook.
Oop! It's time to work!
She smiled quickly then did NOT want that teeny-tiny-minuscule fish anywhere near her. 😂
CoCapt'n Mila.
Snooze master Isaac.
Getting their fishing plaques.
Thank you Cap'n John, Ms Ana and the CAST for Kids Foundation!! We'll see you next year!
