A Day At The State Fair

It's that time of the year again...Washington State Fair, aka The Puyallup. Our first trip to the Fair was just a few weeks after Isaac came home, so today's event was our FOURTH annual trip. Every year has been different and every year has been fun. This year we got to visit the chickens and the Belgian horses (MASSIVE beasts) and eat corn on the cob and ride the gondola and Isaac got his pick of the kiddie rides. AND, we found the Dole Whip kiosk...heaven on earth.

Three day old baby chickens

This inquisitive horse got his nose unexpectedly cleaned by a 4 year old finger.

Riding high above the Fair in the gondola.

Riding the GIANT SLIDE.
He laughed SOOOO hard!
The best part of the afternoon...Isaac riding his first roller coaster! I've known my boy was going to be a roller coaster kid (Lord, knows he didn't get it from me), but I didn't expect he would ASK for this particular ride...and that he would LOVE every minute.  Just look at that sweet face breaking with smiles and laughter!
His last wave before riding THE DRAGON

I love being apart of my boy having new experiences. He has such a zest for life and pushes to try new things...except for olives. There is no zest for black olives.:)  I'm already excited to see what next year at The Fair brings!
