Good Bye Knowledge Kollege

Dear Knowledge Kollege,
Four years ago I was a nervous new mom with nearly 2 year old with the muscle tone of a noodle. We walked into your office with a list of our special family needs--single working mom, newly adopted child, down syndrome, attachment, routine, therapy, sign language, yada yada yada.  You looked right at me and said "Ok. We'll figure it out." And you did.

You included him as an equal in your classrooms and figured the rest out. You welcomed his therapists and figured the rest out. You encouraged his strengths and helped address his weaknesses...you supported me as a mom and prayed over him when he was ill...you extended grace...you taught him his letters & colors...you modeled Christ's heart...you loved my child and figured the rest out.

The truth is, in the last four years, I couldn't have done it without you. And now my boy is going to kindergarten academically ahead of his peers, ready to lead the Pledge of Allegiance, a lover of cobb salad, and as a passionate prayer before meals. This is all because of you. You have ministered to my family is such an unbelievable way and I am so very thankful.

After the first "day" of Kollege (2 hours).

Kollege Life

Kollege Graduate!
Thank you for all that you have given my family. I hope over the years the brownies and cakes showed a little of how much I respect you and the love you give the children in your care. You daily plant seeds of life and I pray that those seeds are watered and bloom into a beautiful future!

With ALL our love
Thanks for helping us figure it out.

Desiree & Isaac
