Photo A Day Holiday Edition: {Days 21-25}

...the continuation of our photo-a-day project through the holidays...

{Day 21: Gingerbread}
Last year's gingerbread house decorating event was a bit of a disaster. I opted for a less dementional approach this year and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

One of us is more abstract than the other.

{Day 22: Christmas Cards}
The annual cards were signed, sealed and delivered today. Twenty states and four countries hold some of favorite people--extended family, church friends, coworkers adoption family, voxer buddies, and a few people I've never actually met face to face but I've gotten to love their hearts through emails and phone calls. Someday in the future, I secretly would love to have at least one personal card sent to every state and way more countries!

{Day 23: Footprint Art}
Our annual footprint art.  Isaac loves the whole event, but let's be honest...it's an excuse to let me play arts & crafts. ;)

{Day 24: Christmas Worship}
All our gifts have been bought. We did the last of the grocery shopping today. All is left is wrapping and some baking, hallelujah. Tonight we took a moment to stop and remember through worship why we do all this running around to begin with. Isaac, in his jammies, sat on my lap and relaxed while the room filled with Christmas worship.

{Day 25: Baking Day!}
We started our day with the license plates on the car being stolen and ended it with dancing our way through Sound of Music. In the middle most of the baking got done. Pumpkin chocolate chip, peppermint chocolate and red velvet cakes wrapped and ready to be given to Isaac's sweet teachers.  The most ahhhh-mazing home made cherry almond cheese cake (To.DIE.FOR!) to be saved for later and dozens of chocolate-filled crescent rolls still to be made. Overall a pretty productive day.
