Photo A Day Holiday Edition: {Days 26-29}

...we are almost done with our photo a day project...

{Day 26: Wrapping}
Isaac took the job of wrapping his gifts VERY seriously this year. Last year he was self declared Tape Application Supervisor. The year before he was Chief of Bow Removal. This year, though...this year, there was precision and measuring and bending and folding and shapes. This was a BIG year in the gift wrapping department!  (On a separate note --because you can see it on the gift behind--we use photos on our gifts so Isaac can be involved in distributing presents to friends & family members. Its super helpful for the other non-readers in the family too. I don't know who tipped me off to do this, but its been a huge success!)

{Day 27: Jesus's Birthday Cake}
We got voted to make Jesus's birthday cake this year for the family celebration on Christmas day. Isaac did a great job manning the mixer and ensuring the cake pan was filled appropriately. Any drips on the counter got licked up immediately!

{Day 28: Fancy Cheese & Crackers}
It was a ladies night in with three dear friends coming over after all the kids were fed & watered. We stayed up late and chatted of parenting, theology, holiday plans, silly stories and heart issues...all over fancy cheese & crackers and sparkling cider in wine glasses. Yeah, we are cool that way.

{Day 29: Christmas Eve}
We had our little family Christmas this evening after church. What says Christmas more than a little boy and a toy trumpet??

Just one more day left...
